The compassionate, experienced caregivers we refer are rigorously screened and carefully matched to your needs and personality. For your peace of mind, Senior Partner refers only licensed CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and Certified Home Health Aides. Each Caregiver has passed an FBI Level 2 background check and carries individual liability insurance. Our phone is answered around the clock by one of our local trained staff members. A Registered Nurse and Certified Care Manager are on call at all times.

Meet the Team

Susan Lisa Conway, RN, CCM
Vice President of Care Services
With more than 23 years of nursing experience, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge of resources that are available in Brevard County. Her background in emergency services, hospital administration, a nursing supervisor for an in-patient mental health unit, hospice, senior living, and now professional care management give Lisa an ability to speak to the challenges facing many of today’s seniors and caregivers. Her own personal experience with the devastation of Alzheimer’s allows her to provide invaluable support and insight for those going through the same thing. In 2019, Lisa earned the title of Certified Care Manager through the Aging Life Care Association and is now designated an Aging Life Care Professional. Also known as a geriatric care manager, she is certified to acts as a guide and advocate for families who are caring for older relatives or disabled adults. Lisa’s role as VP of Care Services allows her the opportunity to provide direct assistance to those needing care management and in-home senior care services.

Carolyn Orlik
Operations & Finance Manager
Originally from Plymouth Massachusetts, Carolyn Orlik has been working with One Senior Place  and Senior Partner Care Services in finance and office management since 2010.  She is a graduate of Eastern Florida State College, where she excelled in Accounting Operations.  A wife of 30 years, and a mother of three adult sons, Carolyn has lived in Florida for most of her life.  She enjoys being out in the Florida sunshine with her family; camping and gardening are her two favorite pastimes.

Dayanara Roman, RN, BSN, CCM
Certified Care Manager
Dayanara is a rare Florida native, born and raised in Miami Beach– and a Central Florida resident for 20 years. A registered nurse for nearly a decade, her background is in behavioral health, oncology and end of life care. The vulnerable patients in those disciplines hold a special place in her heart; she is also a certified chemotherapy nurse. In 2019, Dayanara earned the title of Certified Care Manager through the Aging Life Care Association and is now designated an Aging Life Care Professional. Also known as a geriatric care manager, she is certified to acts as a guide and advocate for families who are caring for older relatives or disabled adults. At Senior Partner, Dayanara thoroughly enjoys building relationships with families and patients and appreciates when she is welcomed into homes to care for family members. She is most proud of her work anytime she gets a sincere thank you from a patient or family. When she’s not at work, Dayanara spends time with her biological family and foster children. Married with a six year-old daughter and toddler son, Dayanara works with the Department of Children and Families to provide a safe home for children transitioning into care. Rounding out the Roman family is a happy dog named Luna. When time permits, Dayanara enjoys reading, watching movies and baking with the kids.

Karen Rowland, LPN
Nurse Care Manager
Karen has worked professionally with seniors for over 26 years.  A wife and mother to two boys, she has been part of the One Senior Place and Senior Partner family since 2014. Karen is committed to caring for others and their families. After working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, Karen returned to school in 1999– obtaining her credentials in Practical Nursing and excelling as one of the top three in her class.  She and her family have called Brevard County home since 2004.  Karen has enjoyed a professional career in Connecticut, Texas and Florida, with experience as a Nurse Assessment Coordinator and related positions in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living facilities and Memory Care Centers. She enjoys spending time with her family and animals.

Andrea Martin
Staffing Manager
Health care has been a way of life for Andrea Martin for over 20 years. The staffing manager for Senior Partner Care Services has worked previously in hospital admissions, patient care, scheduling and even sales and marketing! Andrea has been with Senior Partner since 2012, where she assists with both staffing and scheduling.  Hers is the very important task of keeping track of credential updates for the professional caregivers working with senior clients. Andrea’s diverse health care experience also makes her invaluable in the hiring of new caregivers. The men in her life include her husband of 11 years and three very active young sons.  On sunny weekends, you’ll find Andrea and her guys enjoying the outdoors. Their favorite hangouts include nearby parks and the beach. At home, the family often gathers around the TV to cheer on their favorite sports teams.  A busy working mom, Andrea also likes to spend time in the kitchen trying out new recipes.

Angie Higgins
Service Coordinator
With a long history of staffing administration and office management, Angelina Higgins has been a welcome addition to the busy office of Senior Partner Care Services. Angie is the Service Coordinator for the team and is the cheerful voice clients hear when scheduling care management or in-home care. Outgoing and diligent, Angie enjoys meeting challenges to create a win-win situation every time! In addition to scheduling coordination, Angie posts items of interest to the official Facebook page for Senior Partner Care Services and interacts with its many page followers.  She is a recent transplant to the Sunshine State, having arrived in 2017 from New York with her husband and two young children, Julissa and Mason.  Along with stealing the occasional nap, Angie loves cooking for her family– especially chicken parmesan!
